Immune Support

Our immune system is designed to protect us from invading microorganisms like Lyme disease. A properly functioning immune system recognizes a threat, aggressively responds, and then backs off.

The adrenal glands help the immune system function properly by balancing it with cortisol, which helps the immune system to stop its attack when it is no longer needed. When adrenal fatigue occurs, as it often does with Lyme disease, the immune system continues to attack, leading to increased inflammation.

Once our immune system is not functioning properly, not only do we leave ourselves open to all the opportunistic microorganisms waiting to attack, but we are unable to fight disease.  CLICK HERE TO READ MORE ABOUT IMMUNE SYSTEM SUPPORT AND CHRONIC LYME DISEASE
